Join The ClubParticipants are typically young, adventurous, and independently minded, generally British, Australian, European or South African with most people being in their 20s and 30s. You must be a flexible, easy going, independent person with a sense of team spirit and fun. Our expeditions require no more than an average level of fitness, so you do not have to be "Crocodile Dundee"! However everyone is expected to partake in the day to day tasks necessary for the smooth running of the expedition, including setting up and packing away camp, preparation and cooking of camp meals and shopping for provisions on a rota basis.How Many People GoThe group size varies from expedition to expedition and can range from 8 to 24. A typical group size is 20 participants, however, our tours are very popular because of our experience and price, therefore on our most popular departure dates expect the tour to, be full. Everyone has their own story to tellAs you might have gathered, an overland tour is a world away from your traditional annual package holiday. If you are looking for some time away to put your feet up and top up your tan, we suggest you hit the high street and grab some brochures for the Mediterranean!. We look to offer you an experience, rather than just another holiday. Firstly you will be part of a group of around 10-25 individuals who you will spend every day with for several weeks. The exciting part about this is the fact that there will always be a mixed group of like-minded individuals, from almost any walk of life, to share your experiences with. Although you will all travel together, everyone comes away from an Overland trip with a different experience and returns home with their own story to tell. |
